Rio

I got to make this cake for my cute little nephew who turned one. He loves to dance to the music in Rio so my sister thought this cake would be perfect for him. I loved being able to challenge myself once again with making these birds, and I think they turned out pretty good!

Hula Hula

I loved this cake! It was made for a one year old's birthday and I got to make my first smash cake to go along with the theme. It was a super CRAZY week and I didn't have time to make some fondant flowers, but I really loved the look that these flowers gave to it as well!

Sports

The little boy I made this for is very into sports! He was excited about his cake!

Dirt Bikes

Made this for a friend and her boy did not like/want fondant. I'm not too good at making cakes without fondant, but was pretty pleased with the way this one turned out. They brought me back a piece to eat and I must say it was delicious!

Scroll on down. I had missed updating for a bit. There are two more posts below!

Pink Owl Cake

Made this cake for one of my cousins! Her little girl turned one and this cake went right along with the cute decorations you can see there in the background!

p.s. Thanks for posting your pics Steph. I only managed to get pics of this one on my cell phone. Not the best quality!

Sponge Bob Square Pants

Take 2!

Yup I did two more this past weekend! One was for my own little boy and it was so fun to see him be excited that one of these cakes was FINALLY for him!! It was nice though because both cakes happened to be VERY similar in color so I was able to share the fondant between the two. Funny part is that they were both turning 3. How fun!

The second cake is a Kailan cake. Kailan is a TV show on Nickelodeon. I had lots of fun making all those flowers!

Triple Take

So last week was a little crazy! I work about 32 hours a week at a regularl job and then I do the cakes on the side. I typically prefer doing cakes on the weekend because it is easier to do without having work the next day. Well I had 3 people that I really like all ask me for cakes within the same week, and I couldn't tell any of them no, so I took on the challenge. After three late nights these are the results! I am pretty happy with all of them.

Peace

Made this cake a couple weeks ago for girl turning 11! She loves peace signs so this is what I came up with! The tie dye colors were fun to experiment with and I really like the colors all twisted together on the bottom.
